Adeline Tengem

Coordinator of the “Conservation of Threatened Trees of the Mt. Cameroon area” project

Adeline Tengem is a Cameroonian borne in the Northwest Region of Cameroon. She is a holder of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Botany and Plant Physiology and a minor degree in Horticulture from the University of Buea. Adeline currently coordinates the “Conservation of Threatened Trees of the Mt. Cameroon area” project at the Environment and Rural Development Foundation, ERuDeF, a Cameroon based Non Profit Non Governmental Organization (NGO), whose mission is to conserve Wildlife and protect fragile ecosystems through training, research, capacity building and community engagement in Cameroon. She is formal project Assistant for the same project since January 2014.

Elong Bwang Ntungwa

Lebialem Forestry Coordinator

Elong Bwang Ntungwa is the Lebialem Forestry Coordinator with the Environmental and Rural Development Foundation (ERuDeF) head office in Buea. He joined ERuDeF in first February 2015. He is from Kupe-muanenguba Division, South West Region of Cameroon. He is a holder of a Forestry Technician Diploma in 2013, in the National Forestry School in Mbalmayo-Yaounde. He did a three months pre-professional stage with the Cameroon Development Cooperation (CDC) under the theme, nursing of rubber and preparation of land for planting. Elong Ntungwa has knowledge on seeds collection, nursery establishment and follows up as well as tree planting.

Mirabel EbaneSiewe (Epse) Teku

Marketing/ Administrative Assistant

Ms. Mirabel EbaneSiewe (epse) Teku, the Marketing/ Administrative Assistant of the ERuDeF Institute of Biodiversity And Non-Profit Studies is a Teacher (CAPIEMP) from the Government Teachers Training College Buea who has served with the institute for 1year 6 months. Starting as the assistant in charge of marketing, she has moved up to the level of an administrative assistant who doubles as the logistics officer at the ERuDeF institute. In her strive to raise awareness and understanding in environmental issues, she is currently coordinating Environmental Education Club activities in high schools around the south west region.

Philip Tem Dia

Biodiversity Research Officer

Philip Tem Dia, Biodiversity Research Officer at the Environment and Rural Development Foundation (ERuDeF). He also holds the position as Program officer at ERuDeF head Office. He has six years’ experience in wildlife research and conservation, particularly in the conservation of gorillas and chimpanzees. He has worked as Monitoring Assistant at the Ebo forest Research Project, Littoral Region and is currently our project coordinator in Deng Deng National Park, East Region Cameroon, where he actively participated in the drafting of the management plan for Deng Deng National Park. Over the years he has harness good knowledge on biodiversity research such as botanical inventory, ornithological inventory, and herpetological research in a project on Mount Cameroon National Park.
Philip Tem Dia, holds a M.Sc.(Hons) in Natural Resources and Environmental Management, (Major in Botany) from the University of Buea. His aspiration is to become a successful leader in the world of wildlife conservation.

Sheron Endah F

Assistant Coordinator ABS Initiative

Sheron Endah F is the Assistant Coordinator ABS Initiative at the Environment and Rural development Foundation (ERuDef), Buea. She has a double degree in Women and Gender Studies/ Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Buea. She has 4 year working experience as Gender action and community development officer/ project coordinator. During these years she coordinated a decentralization project on health with the Idenau and Buea councils; sponsored by GIZ/PADDL. More to the above she mobilized and trained women within the south West Region on Gender and widow rights. As a result to these different training projects women are becoming more assertive and proactive about acts of violation against them. For the past three months she has been acting as the assistant project coordinator for the Access and Benefit Sharing project (ABS) with ERuDeF, which greatly facilitated the signing of the first Mutually Agreed Terms (MAT) in Cameroon and Central Africa at large.

Shu Cadinot F

IT Specialist

Shu Cadinot F, is the IT Specialist at the Environment and Rural Development Foundation (ERuDeF), Buea. He has a Diploma in Telecommunication Systems from National Advance School of Post and Telecommunication Buea. He has 4 years working experience as an IT specialist, and one year working experience as a Network Administrator and a Sound Technician at the Audio Console.

Thomas Njingo

Acting Treasurer, Logistics Manager

Mr. Njingo Thomas is in charge of LOGISTICS in the Environment and Rural Development Foundation (ERuDeF), Buea and Trees for the Future Cameroon. One time chief of post for public security Buea, Officer in charge of crime and a holder of public force medal during his stay in the Cameroon Defence Force. He has been in ERuDef since 2004 and has attained several seminars and workshop and also he is a member of ERuDeF Board of Trustees.
