AN ECONOMIST

The CEO of the Environment and Rural Development Foundation (ERuDeF) informs the general public that ERuDeF is seeking to recruit a dynamic, visionary and independent thinking person to fill the position of an Economist in its office in Buea.

The prospective candidate should have the following profile:

Master’s degree in Economics, Management, with two (2) years working experience in economic development, public administration or related field. OR

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, management, with five (5) years of work experience in the above mentioned fields.

Must be able to priorities tasks and pay careful attention to details.

Must be able to prepare advice for the organization by carrying out specialist research.

Should be able to compile, analyse, report data to explain economic phenomena and forecast market trends.

Studying economic and statistical data in areas of specialization such as finance, labour or agriculture.

In addition to strong math and analytical skills, need to have a strong computer and technology skills.

Capable of working and staying in rural areas for long periods.

Should be perfectly bilingual.
