• This project is piloted by ERuDeF and due to start from 2019 through 2023
  • It is an offshoot from the current ABS Project being implemented in the Lebialem Highlands
  • This project will be focused in and around protected areas and biodiversity hotspots in the core landscapes that ERuDeF will be operating

The Objectives of the ABS Support Project

  • To research on new genetic resources
  • To support the sustainable management of the production systems ABS genetic resources
  • To improve on the valorization of the genetic resources
  • To develop and introduce ABS curriculum into the ERuDeF University Institute of Applied Biodiversity Sciences
  • To contribute towards the development of the national ABS Policy and Law
  • To improve on the communication of ABS in Cameroon
