BUDGET UNIT

It seeks to develop  multi-annual  income and expenditure estimates to achieve the organisation’s mission. Key activities includes;

  • Prepares annual organisational operational budget
  • Prepare multi-annual forecast budget for the organisation
  • Monitors and evaluate the implementation of the organisational budget.
  • Prepares reports on project budget implementation
  • Identify budget gaps of the organisation.
  • Prepare partners budget consumption reports.
  • Prepare programmes budgets implementation reports.
  • Oversee the budget management of the organisation .
  • Plays an active role in the fundraising process
  • Petty cash management
  • Comparative analysis of partners' budget
  • Management of pay roll
  • Management of assets

POLICY DEVELOPMENT UNIT

This unit seeks to put in place functional financial policies for accounting, budgeting and auditing for effective, efficient utilization of the available resources to achieve the organisational goal. Key activities includes;

  • Develop and ensure the implementation of accounting policies
  • Develop and ensure the implementation of budgetpolicies
  • Develop and ensure the implementation of audit policies
  • Develop and ensure the implementation of risk management policies

AUDIT UNIT

This unit seeks to verify and examine all statutory records, documents and vouchers of the organisation to ascertain how far the financial statements and assets present the true picture of the organisation. Key activities include;

  • Prepare annual audit report for the organisation
  • Prepare annual fiscal audit for the organisation
  • Conduct financial audit for the organisation
  • Conduct internal control
  • Conduct risk management

ACCOUNTING UNIT

Seeks to record financial statements,balance sheet and income statements to stakeholders. Key activities includes;

  • Prepares financial reports for the organisation and partners
  • Prepares bank reconciliation reports
  • Prepare income statement
  • Prepare balance-sheet
  • Plays an active role in the fundraising process
