In a bid to expand her programme in the Adamawa Region the Environment and Rural Development Foundation (ERuDeF) in collaboration with Trees for the Future-USA is seeking the services An Agroforestry Specialist and Forestry Technician. Ideal candidates for the Agroforestry Specialist position must hold at least a first degree in Agroforestry, Agronomy or Botany while those for the position of Forestry Technician, must have at least a Diploma in Agriculture or Agroforestry.

Candidates for both positions must;

  •  having a mastery of Fulfulde and the French language is a must and the mastery of the English language will be an extra advantage and
  •  be computer literate,
  •  Have a two to five years of experience in Agroforestry extension,
  •  be capable to work under intensive academic and professional pressure within a 45-hour-week and be multitask.
  •  Should have knowledge of project development and fund raising.

The positions are based in Tibati in the Adamawa Region. Deadline for application is 1st of December 2016 and work begins on the 1st of January 2017.
