A COMMUNICATION OFFICER

The CEO of the Environment and Rural Development Foundation (ERuDeF) informs the general public that ERuDeF is seeking to recruit a dynamic, visionary and independent thinking person to fill the position of a communication officer in its office in Buea.

Candidate needs to show evidence of the following;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations or similar field, with two (2) to three (3) years working experience. Masters degree in the above mention fields will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills.
  • Develop internal publications such as newsletters, release email announcements, planned publications, on-line, intranet, video, special projects and assignments.
  • Manage media relations and maximize media opportunities.
  • Develop branding initiatives, internal communications and external media relation.
  • Determine communications strategy and execute programs to deliver communications objectives throughout the organisation.
  • Capable of working and staying in rural areas for long periods.
  • Should be perfectly bilingual.
